Public Area Cleaner

Housekeeping - New Park Manor Hotel

Contract: Permanent
Salary: £11.55 per hour plus generous charge

New Park Manor Hotel, nestled in the breathtaking landscape of the New Forest is seeking a diligent and dedicated public area cleaner to join our friendly team and contribute to the exceptional experience we provide.

Role overview:

As one of the leading luxury hotels in the region, New Park Manor prides itself on exceptional service and maintaining impeccable standards. We are looking for a meticulous individual who shares our commitment to excellence in cleanliness and presentation.  We are looking for someone who can work 32 hours per week, to include weekend cover, at an hourly rate of £11.55 per hour.  Less hours would also be considered as part of a job share / 2 part-time positions.

Key responsibilities:

- Clean and maintain all public areas of the hotel, including lounges, restrooms, and other communal spaces.
- Ensure all surfaces are dusted, polished, and free of debris.
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors as needed to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Monitor and replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department and uphold health and safety regulations at all times.

To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone who has:

- Charisma, an engaging personality with a passion for hospitality, providing great service to our guests.
- A keen eye for detail, working to tight timeframes and enjoying a physical job role
- Ability to interact with all guests and ability to have fun and engage with our younger guests.
- Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping preferred, but not essential.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
