Job Description: Are you a people person with a knack for planning amazing events? Do you thrive in a lively, dynamic environment? If so, we want you to join our team as an Events Coordinator and Guest Relations Superstar! In this exciting, blended role, you’ll be the heart and soul of Fowey Hall, making sure every guest feels like royalty from check-in to check-out.
This is a permanent, full-time role at 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
• Help us set the stage for an amazing stay by handling pre-arrival correspondence with our guests.
• Greet our guests with a smile and make them feel right at home from the moment they step through our doors.
• Be the friendly voice on the other end of the line, assisting with incoming calls and directing them to the right place.
• Work together with other departments to keep everything running smoothly.
• Use your expertise to maximise restaurant bookings for both our in-house guests and those just popping by for a meal.
• Dream up, plan, and pull off incredible events, from fairy-tale weddings to corporate shindigs and family fiestas.
• Handle all the finer details, like venue setup, catering, and entertainment.
What we need from you:-
• Experience in event planning and/or guest relations, especially in a luxury hotel setting, is a big plus.
• Super organised and great at juggling multiple tasks.
• Fantastic people skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
• A can-do attitude and a passion for delivering amazing customer service.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays, because that’s when the magic happens!
