New Park Manor, a beautiful recently refurbished luxury family hotel, is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Linen Porter to join our brilliant team.  Our commitment to excellence extends to every aspect of our operation, including our housekeeping services.

As Linen Porter, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our guests experience the epitome of comfort and cleanliness during their stay. This a zero hour contract covering a busy season, with variable hours (including some weekends).  The hourly rate is £11.55, plus generous service charge and great benefits.

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a diligent and motivated individual to join our team as a Housekeeping Linen Porter. As Housekeeping Linen Porter your role will assist the housekeeping team in cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, public areas, and other hotel facilities. You will work closely with other departments to ensure seamless turnover of bedrooms and interact with guests in a professional, friendly manner.

Key responsibilities:

Transport and handle cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment efficiently.

Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries, providing excellent customer service.

Ensure that all hotel areas are kept tidy and presentable at all times.

Assist with the delivery of guest luggage as needed.

Maintain cleanliness and organisation in storage and supply areas.

Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction.

Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate team members.


Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not essential; training will be provided.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a positive and proactive approach to work.

Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.

Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.

A friendly and professional demeanor.
