Woolley Grange Hotel, a prestigious member of the Luxury Family Hotel Group, nestled in the picturesque countryside of Bradford-on-Avon, is seeking a dynamic and friendly Receptionist to join our lovely team. 

Role overview:

As Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive, able to answer guest queries and showcasing your knowledge of the hotel, the facilities, and the local area.

This a permanent role, at 16 hours per week with the possibility of more hours when required.  Flexibility will be required to work varying shifts to include early/late, bank holidays and weekends. This role pays an hourly rate of £11.55, plus generous service charge and a brilliant benefit package.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming guests: Conducting a pleasant and professional check in/check out, ensuring a smooth and personable welcome. To give all guests a full tour of the hotel and their bedroom, explaining all the facilities on offer.
  • Guest Assistance: Assist guests with enquiries, provide information and address any concerns promptly and professionally, finding solutions to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Reservations: Handle room reservations, manage booking systems, and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Make long lasting unique memories: We welcome your charisma and personality and encourage you to create memories and relationships with our guests – especially the littlest ones!

To succeed in this role we are looking for:

  • Previous experience working with Opera - would be beneficial
  • Charisma, an engaging personality, and a genuine passion for providing outstanding guest service.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and guest needs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across different departments.
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanour.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile for guest satisfaction.
