Front of House - The Ickworth

Contract: Permanent
Salary: £26,663 plus generous service charge and great benefits

The Ickworth, part of Luxury Family Hotels, is entering an exciting new era. Join our team as a Receptionist and play your part in shaping the next chapter of this much-loved Suffolk retreat.

Role overview-

As Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive, able to answer guest queries and showcasing your knowledge of the hotel, the facilities, and the local area.

This a permanent role, at 40 hours per week (including weekends), with a annual salary £26,663 plus generous service charge and a brilliant benefits package.

Responsibilities-

Welcoming guests:

  • Conducting a pleasant and professional check in/check out, ensuring a smooth and personable welcome. To give all guests a full tour of the hotel and their bedroom, explaining all the facilities on offer.

Guest Assistance:

  • Assist guests with enquiries, provide information and address any concerns promptly and professionally, finding solutions to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Reservations: Handle room reservations, manage booking systems, and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Make long lasting unique memories: We welcome your charisma and personality and encourage you to create memories and relationships with our guests – especially the littlest ones!

To succeed in this role we are looking for:

  • Previous experience working with Opera - would be beneficial
  • Charisma, an engaging personality, and a genuine passion for providing outstanding guest service.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and guest needs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across different departments.
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanour.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile for guest satisfaction.
