


Guest Services Coordinator
Front of House - Moonfleet Manor Hotel
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £20,318 plus generous service charge and great benefits
Moonfleet Manor Hotel, nestled along the picturesque Jurassic Coast, is renowned for its elegance and warm hospitality. We are seeking an enthusiastic Guest Services Coordinator to join our team and create memorable experiences for our guests and ensure smooth operations behind the scenes.
Job Summary:
This role combines exceptional guest service with the coordination of on-site events and providing vital administrative support to the reception/front desk team. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented multitasker with a passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
This is a permanent position at 32 hours per week - flexibility will be required to work varying shifts and to include weekend working.
Key Responsibilities:
**Guest Services & Front Desk Support**
- Welcome and assist guests in a friendly, professional manner, ensuring a seamless check-in/check-out process.
- Provide concierge-style service by offering information about local attractions, dining, and hotel amenities.
- Assist with managing guest requests, special occasions, and resolving issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Support the reception team with administrative duties.
**Event Coordination**
- Working with the Group Events Manager to coordinate in-house events including meetings, private functions, wakes, children’s parties, and residential groups.
- Liaise with clients to understand event requirements and ensure all needs are met, from setup to breakdown.
- Coordinate with internal departments, to ensure adequate communication and organisation prior to an event.
- Ensure all event spaces are prepared according to client specifications and hotel standards.
- Assist with invoicing and billing related to events and front office needs.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in hospitality, guest services, or event coordination preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office and hotel PMS systems (e.g., Opera, Delphi, and Resdiary) is a plus but not essential as training will be provided.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
