Set within 1,800 acres of stunning National Trust parkland, The Ickworth Hotel combines heritage and modern elegance, and is known for its exceptional service, and brilliant family activities.
Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable guest experiences? The beautiful Ickworth Hotel is now seeking a dynamic and friendly Receptionist to join our lovely team.
Role overview:
As Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive, able to answer guest queries and showcasing your knowledge of the hotel, the facilities, and the local area.
This is a Fixed term contract from August to December, at 40 hours per week over 5 days (including weekends).
Responsibilities:
- Welcoming guests: Conducting a pleasant and professional check in/check out, ensuring a smooth and personable welcome. To give all guests a full tour of the hotel and their bedroom, explaining all the facilities on offer.
- Guest Assistance: Assist guests with enquiries, provide information and address any concerns promptly and professionally, finding solutions to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Reservations: Handle room reservations, manage booking systems, and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Make long lasting unique memories: We welcome your charisma and personality and encourage you to create memories and relationships with our guests.
To succeed in this role we are looking for:
- Previous experience working with Opera - would be beneficial
- Charisma, an engaging personality, and a genuine passion for providing outstanding guest service.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and guest needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across different departments.
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanour.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile for guest satisfaction.
