Role Purpose:
As a Duty Manager, you will ensure the well-being of all guests, maintaining a high level of host presence and delivering bespoke guest service. You will exceed guest expectations from arrival to departure, drive sales opportunities, and develop your team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead daily operations with exceptional service.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and retention.
• Gather guest feedback on quality and service.
• Maximise sales by adapting to guest demands.
• Handle guest issues positively.
• Maintain warm, efficient service.
• Collaborate with Heads of Departments.
• Prepare VIP accommodations to high standards.
• Uphold maintenance, health, safety, cleanliness, and security.
• Supervise staffing levels.
• Assist in hiring and resolving disputes.
Skills & Attributes:
• Essential: Food and Beverage experience (Supervisory level).
• Desirable: Reception experience, family hospitality, luxury setting.
• Strong hospitality sense and dynamic leadership.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Budget control and financial knowledge.
• Problem-solving under pressure.
• Flexibility with work hours.
Other information:
• 45 hours per week (over 5 days) to suit the needs of the business
• Own transport essential due to remote location of hotel
